Opustone and Tile Concepts, one of Florida’s largest importers and distributors of the finest stones including slabs, tiles, porcelain tiles, and accessories is currently seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in Miami.  We are looking for an individual that is professional, organized, detailed oriented and can work independently.The Customer Service Assistant will be responsible for providing customer service over the telephone.  This position is also responsible for supporting the Sales and administrative team when they are out of the office to expedite requests, help taking phone calls and receiving Customers .Responsibilities

 

 

  • Assists customers over the telephone in a professional and respectful manner. Collects information to record contact in Sales Force.  Works with management when completing unusual, complex or difficult sales.  Supports customer service and the Account Executives and Sr. Account Executives in the daily Showroom activities, as needed.

 

  • Provides support to Sr. Account Executives and Outside Sales personnel with pricing, orders, photographs, etc. needed and provides feedback in a timely manner, when needed.

 

  • Provides customers with pricing and information, as needed.

 

  • Follows up with customers after their preliminary visit to gather information to complete the Customer Information Form, scheduling their next visit and gathering feedback about their customer services experience.

 

  • Follow up to be sure samples are sent and received in a timely manner. Assists Sales Team in expediting sample requests while they are out on sales calls.

 

  • Serves a backup to the Receptionist in her absence.

 

  • Enters orders and processes paperwork following established procedures. Reviews orders at least two (2) days prior to scheduled delivery.  Inspects the material prior to delivery to be sure it is in good condition.  Ensures that any paperwork or communication issues are resolved to avoid shipment delays.

 

  • Communicates with the Warehouse Operations Manager or Warehouse Supervisor, verbally and in writing, as needed, for picture requests, and sample requests following established procedures.

 

  • Receives and answers telephone calls and emails by the end of the business day, even if only to explain that they will follow up the next day. Sends sales orders and photographs to customers as requested.

 

  • Listens to and resolves customer complaints regarding service, products or personnel. Notifies Regional Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Showroom Manager and/or executive management immediately of complaints received regardless of urgency.

 

  • Follows established sales procedures and pricing policies.

 

  • Meets with Regional Sales Manager, Branch Manager or Showroom Manager on a weekly basis to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets and business base. Prepares reports of activities for the Regional Sales Manager, Branch Manager or Showroom Manager on a weekly basis, or as requested.

 

  • Executes sales promotion activities.

 

  • Reviews, updates and follows up on sales calls from the “red” list on a weekly basis. Communicates results to the Regional Sales Manager, Branch Manager or Showroom Manager on a weekly basis.

 

  • Develops and maintains product knowledge of merchandise and available sales promotional materials.

 

  • Assists in ensuring that the showroom is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.

 

  • Follows up on assignments or projects assigned by the Regional Sales Manager, Branch Manager or Showroom Manager.

El aspirante se encargará de mover, almacenar y organizar la mercancía; utilizando el montacarga o la grúa. También prepara y embala la mercancía para los envíos.

Deberes:

  • Empacar, rotular y etiquetar el inventario
    • Apilar y asegurar el material en los Palets

We are looking for an individual that is professional, outgoing, friendly, and customer-focused.
The warehouse operations Manager is responsible for overseeing, instructing, prioritizing the daily warehouse, shipping, and logistic activities and ensuring that the orders are prepared, shipped, delivered, and invoiced in a timely and efficient manner.

Duties:

Oversees and instructs the Warehouse Operations Supervisor on the priorities of the day-to-day activities for the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, all warehouse logistics and operations, preparation and delivery of orders.  Oversees the preparation of work schedules and ensures adequate personnel are available to meet workflow.  Makes recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity in the preparation and delivery of orders.

Oversees the preparation of the delivery routes for the trucks enforcing the proper use of the Elite Extra tracking system.  May assist remote locations in routing their deliveries as needed.  Coordinates, in conjunction with the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, transfer of stock between locations as instructed by the Product and Inventory Planning Manager and transfers for customer orders with Warehouse Operations Supervisor and Cashier.

Instructs and follows up with the Warehouse Area Supervisors in Tile Receiving and Slab Area.

Maintains a close coordination with all areas involved in receiving new arrivals, such as, purchasing (Import Logistics Coordinator), Receiving Warehouse, Product and Inventory Planning Manager,

Oversees the Warehouse Supervisors to be sure that their assigned warehouse area is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion, accessible and safe for Sales personnel, other employees, and customer traffic.

Supports customer service to ensure proper procedures are followed and that established requirements are met, such as pallet selection, show me, return authorization, inspection, and receiving of returns are approved by the Regional Sales Manager

Enforces with the Warehouse Supervisors and their staff to be sure that established operating procedures are followed when working with the sales personnel and customer service requests.

Orders warehouse supplies, such as pallets and packing items, as needed.

Conducts regular checks and maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as a forklift or overhead crane.

Completes appropriate training to operate equipment and that operators are re-certified when needed.

Follows established operational and safety policies and procedures.  Ensures that assigned staff complies with all safety and operational policies and procedures.  Conducts regular safety meetings with the warehouse staff.

Trains and certifies personnel on equipment and/or operating procedures.  Instructs personnel and/or demonstrates appropriate methods and procedures to complete work assignments.

Ensures that all daily safety checklists and logs are completed and filed appropriately.

Enforces accountability of warehouse staff for the proper execution of their assigned duties.

Ensures that the Warehouse Supervisors follow established procedures to secure the facility and equipment (i.e., doors and gates closed and locked, containers have pin locks, vehicles are locked, equipment and tools are stored properly) at the end of the day.

Maintains communication with management on the status of projects and operational issues, etc.

Enforces the Warehouse Supervisors to have their assigned area is in compliance with the pertinent codes, regulations, and guidelines, including safety requirements.

Promotes an environment which avoids using “no” as an answer, but provides solutions to assure requests are handled according to established procedures.

 

Qualifications:

3 to 5 years progressive experience in shipping, logistics, and/or warehousing the tile/stone industry preferred. Prior supervisory or lead worker experience required.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Associates degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.

Good interpersonal skills to motivate and encourage staff to meet established goals and objectives.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are required.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities, adjust to sudden changes in workflow, and meet demanding deadlines.

Working knowledge of logistics and warehousing methods, techniques, and equipment.

Working knowledge of safety regulations, safe work practices, and safety equipment.
