Luxe Connect: An Exclusive Preview of What’s Next
Kicking off the week was an intimate luncheon, co-hosted by Luxe Magazine’s Florida team. Over fine food and designer networking, attendees enjoyed a sneak preview of the thousands of new stone slabs set to debut in Opustone showrooms in the coming months.
From rare hues like Mercury Blue and King Louis XIV to the striking patterns of Ceppo Avorio and Cipollino Rosso Ondulato, this new collection of slabs is a testament to the beauty of natural stone.
Opustone’s own Christiane Martins meticulously selected each stone, scouring quarries across the globe for the most exceptional slabs to add to the collection.
Guests were invited to explore the showroom and slab gallery, experiencing the collection up close. As a special gift, each attendee received a custom handmade serving platter crafted from Calacatta Viola marble.

The following evening, the showroom transformed into an arena for creativity as Opustone welcomed highly accomplished interior designer and award-winning visionary, Carla Guilhem. Known for her ultra-high luxury interiors and specialization in yachting projects, Carla led a lively discussion sharing her journey into the superyacht design world.
Local designers heard Carla’s insights and advice on the importance of balancing style, functionality, and client preferences, while also drawing inspiration from unexpected sources and integrating distinctive materials. Carla’s take on the role of personalization in design sparked an engaging Q&A amongst the guests.
